Jason Schule The Mule Dons the Famous #32!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SCHULE, THE MULE, WEARS THE BLACK & SILVER ONCE AGAIN!
BOSSIER CITY, LA (June 25, 2010) - For most of the 2010 regular season, something has been missing from the BattleWings huddle. At first, it was the leadership on defense needed to make the stop. Then, it was the ruthless block that allows the Wings QBs to make the play. In Week 13, Coach Jon Norris realized that there was a piece of the puzzle staying in the locker room and he was READY TO GO!
Over the past few years, Jason Schule has been a staple and leader on both offensive and defensive sides of the BattleWings team. At 6 and 250 lbs, Schule isn't the biggest full back in the league. However, what he gives up in size, he makes up in heart and the love of the game and he's got the numbers to back it up.
In 2009, Schule racked up stats that would make any player proud.
Schule started all sixteen games for the 2009 BattleWings, rushing for 655 yards with an average of 5.9 yards per carry. Schule averaged 40.9 yards per game and is currently holds EVERY rushing record in the AFL/af2 history. Aside from his rushing prowess, Schule is known for his pass protection, allowing his QB to take the necessary time to make important decisions and put the ball in the hands of receivers downfield. On defense, Schule can step into a Line Backer position and be a difference maker on that side of the ball as well.
During Christmas break, 2009, Jason received news that could have changed his future forever. A diagnosis of testicular cancer appeared to bench the all-star for the foreseeable future. However, incredible doctors, an amazing determination, faith, and plain-old hard work defeated the disease! Schule spent the first half of 2010 in treatment and recovery, which gave him time to achieve another personal goal graduating from the University of Louisiana Monroe. Now, with a brand new college degree and a new lease on life The Mule is BACK in Bossier-Shreveport.
Welcome home, Jason Schule. We've missed you!
